The official adoption of David Banda by Madonna is facing a few obstacles after officials from Malawi canceled their visit to England.
The Minister of Malawi, Kate Kainja, canceled the meeting between Penstone Kilembe and Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie. This meeting was to evaluate their capabilities to adopt the two-year-old boy.
According to FemaleFirst, Kainja accused Kilembe of asking Madonna to pay the flight to London without the consent of the government.
Kilembe denied receiving any money from the star, and he expressed that the cancelation of this visit could affect the proceedings.
Kilembe was supposed to visit Madonna and her family in London two times this year.
