Madonna’s Illicit Confessions

At her induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame yesterday (March 10), Madonna revealed that she has used ecstasy and smoked marijuana.

The night I met Michael Rosenblatt, who signed me to Sire Records, I jammed my demo tape into his hand, we both did a tab of ecstasy and then we danced the night away.

The star also admitted that she smoked a joint with her publicist Liz Rosenberg the day they met.

The 49-year-old singer then thanked the people that put her down when she was starting out because it pushed her to become a better singer. "The ones that said I was talentless, that I was chubby, that I couldn’t sing, that I was a one-hit wonder. They pushed me to be better, and I am grateful for their resistance," added Madonna.
