Maggie Q to Play a Priestess

The Asian actress will join Bettany and Gigandet in the Western horror flick, Priest.

The Hollywood Reporter announced that the film, adapted by Cory Goodman from a TokyoPop comic book, takes us into a world destroyed by a war between humans and vampires. A warrior priest (Bettany) will then team with a sheriff (Gigandet) to chase down a band of killer vampires who kidnapped his niece.

Q will play a priestess who will fight alongside Bettany’s character.

Priest will be directed by Scott Stewart for Screen Gems.

Maggie Q can next be seen in New York, I Love You, which will be released in select theatres on October 16.
