Quebec City will play host to the first ever Festival de magie (Festival of Magic) this September, featuring 15 illusionists and magicians providing an unforgettable show, reports Radio-Canada.
The festival kicks off on September 1 and runs through until the 5th. On September 4, there will be a special performance by Luc Langevin, host of the French-language television show Comme par magie.
Filmed in front of a live audience, Langevin will invite guests onto the stage to help out in his act, with everything caught on camera to give everyone a clear view of exactly what happens on stage.
The show takes place at the Theatre de la Bordee in the city’s Saint-Roch district. A show special, a $50 ticket will cover admission to three of the performances.
Other acts include MysterAct, Pierre Hamon, Nicolas Gignac, Vincent C, Patrik Kuffs, Jimmy le magicien, Magic Carol, Jean Deshaies, Martinus Sacapus and Billy et Manu.
