FemaleFirst reported that Agyness Deyn was the star last night at the British Fashion Awards when she won the Model of the Year award. The long, black dress that she wore was designed by her friend Giles Deacon.
Paul McCartney’s daughter, Stella McCartney, was named Designer of the Year, ahead of Luella Bartley and Anya Hindmarch. The designer had tears and dedicated this award to her parents.
Fans were not surprised when Christopher Kane won the award for New Designer of the Year, after a rocky year when his collection was stolen just before a fashion show.
Many celebrities were at this function including Thandie Newton, who presented the award for Designer of the Year, Lily Allen, Kelly Osbourne, Lisa Snowdon and Dita Von Teese.
