Bello will be joining Brendan Fraser, Luke Ford, Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh, in this Rob Cohen movie for Universal Pictures.
Bello will play Evelyn Carnahan O’Connell, the role played by Weisz in the first two movies. After Weisz declined the part for the third movie, Cohen and his team went to great lengths to find someone to take her place.
The Mummy 3 was written by the creators of the television show "Smallville", Miles Millar and Alfred Gough. In this movie, the O’Connell family and their son, who is now an adult, go to China to prohibited tombs in the Himalayas. They confront the mummy of the first Chinese Emperor who has the curse of a wizard.
