According to FemaleFirst, Carey, 38, was seen on Saturday (April 26) with a huge diamond ring on her finger. Carey was at the after party for her new film Tennessee at the Tenjune nightclub in New York.
A witness stated, "Mariah and Nick looked really cosy. They were cuddling and made sure they held hands all night. Mariah looked really proud to be there with Nick and he seemed to be having a great time."
Cannon, 27, refused to confirm the news, and simply stated that Carey is a good person. While on MTV, he said, "I can’t even know what to say. She’s probably the most festive, remarkable person I’ve ever met. She is a good friend. But rumours happens."
Carey separated from her husband, Sony Music President Tony Mottola, in 1997.
