The singer’s fans are beginning to ask a lot of questions following Carey’s cancellation of several important appearances, reported People.
Carey, 40, was scheduled to get a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame on August 25, and was also to appear on the Today show on August 28. The star was also to star in an episode of VH1’s Storytellers, but all three of these major appearances have been called off.
Cindi Berger, Carey’s rep, gave no reason for the cancellations, but insists that the appearances will take place at a later time. She explained, "These dates have been postponed and not cancelled."
A source added that Carey is currently putting the finishing touches on her new album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, which is set to be released on September 29.
