Starpulse reports singer Mariah Carey transformed into a firefighter before taking to the stage in Egypt yesterday (May 17).
Carey told fans what happened via her Twitter page. She talked about how a fire actually started beneath her feet as she was preparing to go on stage.
The superstar explained: "In Egypt getting ready to go on stage and suddenly there was a surge of power and an electrical fire started under my feet! Naturally, my emergency instincts kicked in and I put out the flames w/a towel."
This is not the first time Carey has worn a firefighter hat. Last year, she put out a fire at a home she shares with husband Nick Cannon.
Carey and Cannon were celebrating Valentine’s Day when a fire started in the master bedroom. Carey put out that fire with some water.
Mariah Carey and her husband renewed their vows for the third time on April 30 to coincide with their second wedding anniversary. The couple revealed that they will organize a wedding each year for as long as they are together.
