Carey’s camp is asking for one million dollars for expenses incurred by the concert being canceled. According to Carey, One Group Investments of Hong Kong broke their contract with the star by canceling the show at the last minute.
Promoters called the mid-October show off due to last minute requests by Carey that were deemed to be extravagant.
