The new Mariah Carey album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, will be out September 15, reports RollingStone.
The new disc was expected for a release on August 25, however, according to the singer’s Twitter page, it was announced that there was a delay at the studio and the release date has been postponed.
The single Obsessed, which has created a lot of buzz after Carey transformed herself into a man who strikingly resembles Slim Shady a.k.a. Eminem, can be found on her forthcoming album.
Carey’s last studio album, E=MC2, was released in August 2008. It was followed by a compilation album called The Ballads in October.
