Mariah Carey made her fans wait two hours before she started a concert in Las Vegas. Orange News reports that she demanded a doctor examine her throat before she went on stage.
Concertgoers came out in large numbers to watch her concert at the Colosseum last Saturday night (February 27). It was the last show on her Angels Advocate tour.
The crowd started to get impatient when Carey pushed back the show’s start time until she got a doctor’s ok. She has suffered from vocal cord problems in the past.
The star greeted fans two hours late and after waiting for Ciara to finish her show. A source says, "Ciara was performing as Mariah arrived, so she waited in the car, saying she didn’t want to upstage her."
Mariah Carey’s album Angels Advocate was originally supposed to be released on February 23. It will now come out on March 9.
The album is actually a remix of several songs from her Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel album. That album, released last September 29, has not bee very successful to date.
