French actress Marion Cotillard is the heroine in Chapter 2 of the Lady Dior ad campaign.
Cotillard was first transformed into Lady Noire à Paris (Dark Lady in Paris). Now the house of Dior asked the actress to return for the second chapter of the story. She plays Lady Rouge (Red Lady) for the second part of the house’s ad campaign. This time the setting is New York City.
For this new ad campaign, the actress shot a music video where she transforms into a Broadway star to sing a song with the group Franz Ferdinand, The Eyes of Mars.
Jonas Akerlund, a favourite of Madonna, directed Cotillard in the music video. It will be unveiled tomorrow (March 5) at ladydior.com.
Marion Cotillard currently stars in the French film Le Dernier Vol. On this side of the pond, she was one of the stars in Rob Marshall’s musical Nine.
