Madonna, who finds certain similarities with Britney, gave the 26-year-old singer some advice to forego marriage in the future.
Spears, who joined Madonna on stage for her Sticky and Sweet tour earlier this month, had asked Madonna if she would one day marry again after her divorce with Guy Ritchie.
According to a close source, Madonna simply said that she would not be doing that again, and told Britney to forget about marriage, because it doesn’t work for women like them.
Britney, the mother of two children with ex-husband Kevin Federline, was also married for 55 hours to a childhood buddy, Jason Alexander.
