According to Billboard.com, Maroon 5 and Counting Crows will be kicking off their summer tour on July 25 in Virginia Beach, United States.
The two groups are promising a green tour, and are getting help from the environmental group Reverb. They will aim for biodiesel trucks, carbon offsets and carpooling for concert-goers.
The opener will be Sara Bareilles up to August 26, and after that date the San Diego group Augustana will be the opener.
Maroon 5 can be seen on April 9 on American Idol. Counting Crows has just launched the album Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings, under the Geffen label.
