The Cecil B. DeMile prize was already awarded to Steven Spielberg, Warren Beatty, Anthony Hopkins, Michael Douglas and Robin Williams.

The nominees for the Golden Globes will be announced on December 15, and the event, which is the second most important ceremony after the Oscars, will take place on January 17, 2010.

In the meantime, Martin Scorsese’s upcoming film is Shutter Island starring Leonardo DiCaprio, which hits theatres on February 19, 2010. The director is also working on a production on the life of Frank Sinatra, due out in 2011.
