According to a report by People magazine, it has been confirmed that the woman who discovered Ledger’s body spoke to actress Mary-Kate Olsen twice by telephone before emergency services arrived.
Diana Wolozin arrived at the actor’s apartment at 2:45 on Tuesday afternoon (January 22). When she realized that Ledger, 28, was not responding to her, she used his cell phone to call Olsen in California for help.
Olsen, 21, told Wolozin that she would send her security agents. During the second phone call, the actress said that she would call 911. The paramedics arrived at the apartment at the same time as Olsen’s security staff.
The New York Times had reported that Olsen was linked to the case. It was originally believed that Ledger had died in the apartment of the young actress.
