While most festivals take years to build a reputation, the iHeartRadio Festival on September 23 and 24 in Las Vegas has managed to score major headliners in its first year of operation.
Iheartradio is an interactive media social networking platform outlet that offers more than 750 radio stations free online, as well as specific shows and on-demand content including photos and videos.
Performers jumping at the chance to perform and promote radio broadcast via interactive media include Coldplay, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood and Steven Tyler.
There will also be live performances by Kenny Chesney, Jennifer Lopez, David Guetta, Rascal Flatts, Kelly Clarkson and John Mayer, indicating that the magnitude of this festival’s debut will make it a major player in the years to come.
Organizers promise many more stars will be added to the roster over the summer, and since Vegas is already a tourist mecca, it’s the perfect place to accommodate an influx of fans and performers.
