During an interview with Elle magazine for its July issue, singer Rihanna talked about how her boyfriend, 25-year old Matt Kemp, is like an oasis of calm in her completely crazy life.
The 22-year old star talked about their relationship, saying: "I’m so happy. I feel really comfortable, and it’s so easy."
With her busy schedule, Rihanna likes to be with someone with whom she can relax at the end of the day. She says that is what keeps her sane.
She admits: "I have such a chaotic life, but at the end of the day, that is just my peace. It keeps me sane, really, talking to him and talking to my family."
Rihanna met Matt Kemp last November through friends and they have been dating ever since.
Before hooking up with Kemp, Rihanna dated singer Chris Brown. Their relationship ended abruptly after Brown violently attacked Rihanna. He was arrested, charged with assault and later pleaded guilty to all the charges against him.
Rihanna is getting ready to spend the summer on the road on the North American leg of her Last Girl on Earth tour. The tour kicks off July 2 in Seattle and wraps up August 25 in Chicago. She has stops planned on July 4 in Vancouver, on August 5 in Toronto and on August 7 in Montreal.
