Christian Bale, whose image was seriously tarnished by the release of an audio tape where he is heard screaming at the director of the film Terminator Salvation, has received a helping hand from the director, McG, to help restore his reputation.
McG explained that they were filming war scenes that day and everyone on the set was on edge in order to provide the realism and tension that he wanted in those scenes. McG stated, "Everybody was very wound up and everybody was fired up and I wanted him that way… I riled him up! I deserve all the blame, in fact, throw me right under the bus.”
The director is asking for an investigation into the leak, which quickly made its way to the Internet.
For his part, Christian Bale never tried to hide the incident or his responsibility, but nevertheless regrets that it was made public.
