First it was her scantily clad body in Armani underwear and jeans, now Transformers actress Megan Fox is starring in a new ad campaign promoting Armani’s Code fragrance for women, reports Coco Perez.
The actress is barely recognizable with a new sleek black bob hairstyle, pale skin and red lips, photographed with shadowy nighttime lighting. The ads show her hanging out with a hunky male model on a rooftop overlooking the L.A. night skyline at night.
Armani calls the fragrance is "A seductive, alluring scent. The secret code of women.” The perfume has orange flower notes with fresh ginger accents and a blend of honey-sandalwood. The name and scent is meant to represent “A woman’s mysterious code of seduction revealed.”
Explaining why he chose the 24-year-old star, Armani said, "She embodies the spirit of the women of today: free, confident and seductive. Her beautiful features reveal femininity, sensuality and strength."
Make-up for the campaign was done by Armani artist Linda Cantello, and the advertisements will be released on television and in print this month.
As the new face of Giorgio Armani, Fox first signed on with Armani last December, and her sultry campaign for Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani underwear collection debuted last January, and her cosmetics campaign was unveiled last month.
Fox’s acting career began in 2001, when she landed a recurring character on the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith. However it was her 2007 role in Transformers that launched her to international fame. Since then, she has become known as a sex symbol, and was ranked number five on Maxim’s Hot 100 list for 2010.
