Mel Gibson’s marriage ended in divorce when he was caught cheating with 40-year old Oksana Grigorieva. He and his wife of 28 years have seven children.
His girlfriend gave birth to Gibson’s eighth child last fall. At the time, it was reported that Mel Gibson was "thrilled" about the new baby. He was even planning to tie the knot with Grigorieva.
Things don’t always work out as planned and the couple called it quits in January after dating for three years.
The Russian musician is spilling the beans about her ex. She told London’s Daily Mail newspaper: "He is not paying me a penny. Nothing. I am having to live on credit cards and borrowed money. It is not a good situation."
Mel Gibson is worth an estimated $900 million, less now that he shelled out for one of the most expensive divorce settlements in Hollywood history. Nonetheless, he is still a very wealthy man.
The mother of his newest daughter felt she had no choice but to go public with her beef against the Lethal Weapon star. She confided: "I was trying to keep things dignified and be respectful to the father of my daughter, but what he is doing is cruelty."
Grigorieva accuses Gibson of being violent which prompted her to ask for a restraining order against the actor.
However, a lawyer for the actor says the Russian bombshell made the allegations up in an attempt to change the agreed upon custody arrangement.
