Brown, who is also known as Mel B, or Scary Spice, hopes to soon be wed to her boyfriend, film producer Stephen Belafonte.
The singer, who has been separated from her previous boyfriend, actor Eddie Murphy, since last year, is ready to marry for the second time. She told WENN, "He’s the love of my life and I am going to marry him."
The news comes just months after Brown gave birth to a baby girl, Angel Iris, who is Eddie Murphy’s child. Mel B added that Belafonte has openly accepted her new child, and that Eddie has not contacted her since she gave birth.
Melanie Brown was first married in 1998, and will be reuniting with the Spice Girls before the end of the year.
