Metalheads try to storm Metallica concert

Metallica concert ends with three people stabbed and 120 people arrested.

According to Chart Attack, a group of Colombian heavy metal fans tried to push their way into a Metallica show in Bogota on Wednesday (March 10). The only problem? They did not have tickets.

It was complete chaos in Simon Bolivar Park. Three people were stabbed, one police officer was hurt and the place was ransacked.

Fans riled each other up on Facebook before the show began. They encouraged each other to try to get into the show without tickets.

This is not the first time such a thing has happened in Colombia. In 2009, fans tried to push their way into an Iron Maiden concert at the same venue.

The Metallica tour promoting their 2008 album Death Magnetic carries on. They perform in Caracas, Venezuela on March 12 and then on March 14 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The band heads out on a European tour after that with stops in several countries. It starts in Oslo Norway on April 13-14 and wraps up in Athens, Greece on June 24.
