As they did in 1995, Metallica is taking the time to do a few concerts in Europe, while they are currently recording a new album.
Only 5 dates have been announced. They include: Festivals Rock am Ring and Rock im Park in Germany (June 3-4), Holland (June 8), and at the Download Festival in England (June 10-11).
The group also foresees three concerts in South Africa starting mid-March.
Metallica will spend the rest of 2006 writing and recording songs for their next album.
