After having offered concert recordings on the site LiveMetallica, the Los Angeles band is now permitting the sale of its individual songs.
The iconic group has given close to 270 shows, some of them dating back to 1982. Up until yesterday (September 3), fans were able to purchase a complete recording of a show, but couldn’t buy one particular song they liked. However, the songs are currently being sold separately for 99 cents each.
Now that Metallica’s record contract has expired, fans are curious to see if the Californian masters of heavy metal will decide to distribute their material via the Internet.
