JunoFest is a weekend of concerts that takes place each year over two days before the Juno Awards gala. The line-up has just been announced. The Juno Awards have been celebrating the Canadian music industry for more than 40 years.
Toronto group Metric with Emily Haines will headline the festival. The group is one of 30 Canadian artists and bands that will perform during JunoFest on April 16 and 17. The Juno Awards will take place April 18 in St. John, Newfoundland. Other big names on the list include Great Lake Swimmers, Arkells, Alexisonfire, Julie Doiron, Stereos and Land Of Talk.
In addition to these Canadian artists, nearly twenty local and regional artists are joining the party. They will perform in one of the 15 concert halls affiliated with JunoFest.
There is a limited quantity of bracelets available that will give you access to JunoFest shows. The bracelet gives its wearer priority admittance to halls with a small capacity.
