The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Angarano (Almost Famous, The Forbidden Kingdom) has signed a deal to star in Ceremony. Eisenberg (The Village), who is in negotiations for the film, could be Angarano’s co-star.
The comedy will mark the directorial debut for Max Winkler, who also wrote the script, telling the story of a young man (Eisenberg) who is head over heels in love with an older woman who is getting ready to tie the knot. With the help of his friend (Angarano), he will try to stop the wedding from happening.
We can next see Angarano in Gentlemen Broncos, which doesn’t yet have a release date. As for Eisenberg, he is currently starring in Adventureland, now in theatres, and can also be seen in Zombieland on October 9.
