According to Variety, Fassbender (300) is presently in negotiations to play the part of Lieutenant Archie Hicox in the Quentin Tarantino film. Earlier this week, Simon Pegg pulled out of the film because of a schedule conflict with his current movie Paul.
The impressive cast of Inglorious Bastards includes Brad Pitt, Mike Myers, Nastassja Kinski, Eli Roth, and B.J. Novak.
Inglorious Bastards is scheduled to start shooting on October 13 in Germany because Tarantino intends on presenting the film at the Cannes Film Festival next year.
Fassbender is currently completing the movie Creek, and can soon be seen in the European films Hunger and Eden Lake.
