Michael Gambon (Harry Potter) will join Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman in The Book of Eli.
Gambon will play a man in a relationship, keeping true to old traditions.
Washington will play a lone warrior who travels through a deserted America in a not so distant future.
The film is set for a release on January 15, 2010.
In the meantime, Michael Gambon will return to his role as Dumbledore in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, opening July 17.
