Michael Jackson Arrives Late to Court

Judge Rodney Melville decided against arresting the singer, who arrived 5 minutes later than the hour that the judge originally granted him.

If the judge had decided otherwise, the star would have been in violation of his $3 million bail, and would have lost the money, as well as being sent to jail.

Jackson is allegedly suffering with a serious back problem, which is why he was late.  The singer arrived in court today wearing pajama bottoms and a jacket.

This is the second time the singer was not on time at the court house.  The first time he was hospitalized with the flu.
