Perez Hilton has reported that several concert dates for Michael Jackson at the 02 Arena in London could be cancelled.
Organizers that had planned a tour with Jackson’s sister, Janet, and the rest of his family, are now preventing the singer from performing at the 02 Arena.
In November 2008, Michael Jackson’s manager signed a contract promising that Jackson would appear with his family on tour. In this agreement, Michael was prohibited from making another concert deal for 18 months. As a result, the London shows mean he would be in violation of his contract.
However, in Michael’s defence, he never actually signed his name on the family tour contract. The contract was signed by his manager, which is still legally binding.
