The owner, AEG Live, will use the arena for this special occasion. Jackson would have made his final rehearsals for his concert series, This Is It!, at the Staples Center.

Several media sources have reported that a public ceremony was to take place at the Neverland ranch yesterday (July 2), and that the funeral would occur on Sunday (July 5), but the family has denied all of these reports.
