Michael Jackson’s house for sale

The last home Michael Jackson lived in before his death is now on the market.

Michael Jackson was renting a mansion in the Holmby Hills area of Bel Air in L.A. when he received an overdose of Propofol that ended his life on June 25, 2009.

The King of Pop was paying $100,000 a month to rent the home while he rehearsed for the This Is It, his highly anticipated comeback tour. He lived there with his three children, Prince Michael, 13, Paris, 12, and Prince Michael II (Blanket), 8.

Its owner, Ed Hardy CEO Hubert Guez, has put the mansion on the market for $29 million. This is considerably lower than his original asking price of $38 million in 2008.

The French chateau-style mansion was built in 2002 and sits on 1.26 acres of Hollywood real estate. It boasts of having over 17,200 square feet. The property includes seven bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, plus 12 fireplaces, a screening room, a wine cellar and tasting room, a gym and spa facilities, a seven-car garage, maid’s quarters, a pool, expansive gardens and a detached guest house.
