The film Michael Jackson’s This Is It was officially released today (October 28) around the world. A pre-premiere took place yesterday in 3 500 theatres.
The film features the late pop star rehearsing for the series of concerts that he was planning to perform in London.
Kenny Ortega (High School Musical) directed the documentary, which shows Jackson on stage, as well as fans.
Internet ticket presales were offered in several locations for the limited, two-week showing. According to some predictions, the film may become a record breaker, as many believe that it will earn more than $40 million at the box office before Sunday.
