Miley Cyrus, Adele perform on Bob Dylan tribute album

Chimes of Freedom will star over 80 major artists to raise money for charity.

Over 80 major artists like Miley Cyrus, Adele, Maroon 5, and Joan Baez have joined together to create a new Bob Dylan cover album, Chimes of Freedom, with proceeds going towards the charity Amnesty International, reports Clash Music.

Altogether, the four-disc box set brings together 75 of the rock legend’s most popular hits spanning his career as a songwriter, including Ziggy Marley’s take on Blowin’ in the Wind, Mr. Tambourine Man as performed by Jack’s Mannequin, Carly Simon’s version of Just Like a Woman, and The Times They are a-Changin’ performed by Flogging Molly. Bob Dylan himself performs the title song as the fourth disc’s final track.

"Bob Dylan’s music endures because he so brilliantly captures our heartbreak, our joy, our frailty, our confusion, our courage and our struggles,” said Karen Scott with Amnesty International.

"His words convey a depth of meaning that few artists can equal, inspiring us and always moving ahead of our expectations. We at Amnesty International are deeply grateful to this legendary musician and to all of the artists who have contributed to this project."

The album goes on sale January 24 to mark the 50th anniversary  of the charitable organization.
