Miley Cyrus and Bret Michaels launch their duet … in Australia

Debut of Every Rose Has Its Thorn exclusive to Down Under.

To promote her Australian tour, singer Miley Cyrus’ new single Every Rose Has Its Thorn, a cover of the Poison hit, featuring a duet with singer Bret Michaels, will finally be released – but only in Australia – reports Teen Music.

Although no one doubts that the song will gradually make its way to North America via the Web, it appears an alleged affair between Poison frontman Bret Michaels and Tish Cyrus, mother of Miley, caused the record label to delay the release.

Supposedly the events led to talk of divorce between Miley’s parents, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus, leaving the single’s North American launch in limbo.

Billy Ray and Tish have since reconciled, and although the young singer did not announce the exact release date for her single, her Gypsy Heart tour kicks off in in Brisbane, Australia on June 21.
