According to Variety, Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore are in talks to star in the English-language remake of the French film LOL (Laughing Out Loud).
The director and co-writer of the original film, Lisa Azuelos, will write and direct the English version.
The original film was released last year and starred Sophie Marceau and Christa Theret. It tells the story of a 15-year old teen who has a difficult relationship with her 40-year old divorced mother. The girl gets dumped by her more sexually experienced boyfriend and goes after his best friend.
The film will be produced by Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher of Double Feature Films.
After the Hannah Montana film, Miley Cyrus will star in The Last Song coming to theatres on April 2. Demi Moore is starring in the film Bunraku with Josh Hartnett and Woody Harrelson. It hits theatres this year but no release date has been confirmed.
