Miley Cyrus and her tour team had a hot one. The plane that was carrying them to Paraguay was struck by lightning and was damaged.
The 29-year-old singer posted a message on Instagram to her fans.
“To my fans and everyone who was concerned after hearing about my flight to Asuncion. Our plane was caught in an unexpected major storm and struck by lightning. My crew, band, friends and family who were all traveling with me are safe after an emergency landing. Unfortunately we were not able to fly to Paraguay. 💔 I LOVE YOU.”
The image accompanying the post leaves no doubt about the violence of the storm that hit the singer’s plane.
Miley Cyrus had just finished a few hours before this frightening storm a concert in Bogota, Colombia. The star was there presenting the tour Miley Live. Normally, the singer will end her South American tour at Lollapalooza Brazil on March 26.
The misadventure of Miley Cyrus is not without reminding the one suffered Elton John last month. He too had an emergency landing of his plane. In his case, a technical problem was at the origin of the emergency landing.
