Miley Cyrus to cover Bob Dylan song

Teen pop star will perform a Dylan ditty for charity album.

Teenage pop star Miley Cyrus will cover a classic Bob Dylan song on an upcoming charity album to benefit Amnesty International, reports NME.

The Last Song starlet has not yet announced which of Dylan’s many tunes she’ll choose to contribute to the album, which is being released to celebrate the charity’s 50th anniversary.

Chimes Of Freedom: Songs Of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International will feature an array of Dylan songs performed by a wide range of artists, including Sting, The Dave Matthews Band, Patti Smith and My Morning Jacket. Adele will contribute her version of Make You Feel My Love, which she first recorded for her debut album, 19.

Ke$ha, who will donate her own cover of Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right, says Dylan has been a major influence on her music. She also admitted: "When you think of me, you wouldn’t think of Bob Dylan."

"My music is more about the going crazy than politics. But he’s a huge influence – he writes his own music and means what he says. I write my own music and I f—ing mean every word I sing."
