The former O.C. star has accepted a role as a top model in the pilot show, A Beautiful Life, a CW network series.
However, according to Starpulse.com, Barton was ordered to gain weight, since management at CW is worried that her figure is too slim and sets a bad example to young viewers.
A source explained, "The producers are very mindful that their target audience is teenage girls so it’s important to not send out the wrong message. Mischa has the part on condition she does not lose weight – they want her to put weight on if she can."
