The biannual mag, on newstands next Monday (February 8), created eight different covers for its latest issue. Each cover features a different model whose real measurements are listed and all issues will include a 40-page photo shoot of all the models.
LOVE’s editor-in-chief, Katie Brand, said, "For this issue of LOVE, we took eight women who are generally acknowledged as the most beautiful in the world, got them to show off their bodies – widely regarded as the most perfect in the world – and photographed them all in exactly the same position for the cover."
Brand explains that they went with this concept to show how much these eight women differ physically from one another. "The point is that ‘perfection’ is not fixed, timeless or transcendent. It varies, as the measurements of our cover girls show."
Other LOVE cover girls include Lara Stone, Natalia Vodianova, Amber Valletta, Jeneil Williams, Kristen McMenamy and Daria Werbowy.
Photographer Mert Alas did the shoot with the eight nude women. He said it was very interesting for him to observe the women in the same position, but so different and all with a very powerful allure.
