Money Doesn’t Buy 50 Cent Happiness

After all the success he’s had, 50 Cent admits that money doesn’t solve all his problems.

The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, says that having a fortune doesn’t solve all of life’s problems. Despite knowing this, he still tries to earn more.

50 Cent said, "$400 million? I’m not sure how much I have, but that sounds great. I don’t really think it’ll ever be enough. I used to equate success with my finances because I didn’t have anything, and when you don’t have any money, it seems money is the answer to all your problems. Then you get money, and you realize that you’ve got a whole new set of problems."

In spite of his full-fledged success, the rap artist says he’s very down-to-earth and doesn’t feel the need to flaunt his wealth and always fly first class. "I’m clear with my financial space—I don’t need to get any validation by someone else who sits next to me in first class. If you think a seat in first class makes you a star, then you’re not one," he added.

Last December, 50 admitted to having problems finding a girlfriend, because he thinks women are only after him for his money.

Last year, the rapper was slapped with a 50- million-dollar lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins. The mother of his son, Marquise, had accused him of not respecting an agreement in which he was supposed to pay her half his earnings.
