After winning third place in ‘best cities in the world’ rankings from Lonely Planet in July, now the Canadian city of Montreal has won the title of ‘Best Global Destination’ from a contest by NewNowNext, beating out Tokyo, Marrakech , Corsica, London and Shanghai.
Organized by TripOut Travel, the contest rewards the trendiest LGBT destinations, exciting and open to the world. A jury of journalists and editors from famous travel magazines like Conde Nast Traveler, Travel & Leisure, and Lonely Planet, as well as professionals in the tourism industry chose the finalist cities according to their strengths as a destination for LGBT.
