More songs from Michael Jackson

Producer Teddy Riley says he has more Michael Jackson’s songs in his computer.

Barely 24 hours after the release of Michael, the artist’s first posthumous album, it has been revealed that more songs are awaiting the green light from the Jackson family before being released to fans.

Producer Teddy Riley, who worked with Michael Jackson in the 1990s and who also produced three of the 10 songs on Michael, has just confirmed the existence of much more material.

He said he had more songs “"in my computer, waiting for [Jackson’s estate] to push the button."

One of the songs the producer has in his possession is entitled Blue Gangsta and is probably one of the funkiest songs in the King of Pop’s undisclosed repertoire.

Akon, who collaborated with Jackson on the album’s first single Hold My Hand, said that none of the material in his possession is as finished as that track.

Riley recently told new media about the work that was required to make Jackson’s vocals releasable. "I had to do more processing to the voice, which is why people were asking about the authenticity of his voice.” He added that the perfectionist Jackson "would never consider it being a final vocal."
