Ted Humphrey wrote the screenplay for this story inspired by the story of Ruben Leder. Freeman will play a professional thief who recruits a criminal, played by Banderas, to help him do his last job, which will help him pay his debt to the Russian mob.
Filming will begin in October in Bulgaria. The movie will be distributed by First Look Studios in North America.
Freeman is presently starring in the movie Feast of Love.
