Wednesday, Freeman’s attorney confirmed that the actor and his wife, Myrna Colley-Lee, had begun divorce proceedings, after 24 years of marriage. The two have lived separately since last December.
At the moment, the cause of the accident has not been determined. Police believe that the actor could have possibly fallen asleep at the wheel.
