According to Variety, Freeman is in talks to join Willis in the spy thriller Red.
The project is based on a three-volume comic strip, written by Warren Ellis and illustrated by Cully Hamner, which was published in 2003 and 2004.
The story follows the life of Paul Moses, a retired CIA agent. Hoping for a peaceful life after investigating murders and other crimes, he must soon fall back on his training when he learns that he’s a marked man because he knows too much.
In the meantime, we can see Morgan Freeman playing Nelson Mandela in the Clint Eastwood film, Invictus, opening on December 11.
