Moscow Says No to Borat

Russia has decided not to present the film Borat in their country.

Russian film distributors have been ordered not to show the comedy, as authorities believe that the film is offensive to their neighbours in Kazakhstan.

The decision was made by the Federal Agency of Culture.  A spokesperson explained the decision, "They showed it to our staff, who, in private exchanges with the company, said there is material in the film that could cause offence."

Starring Sacha Baron Cohen, Borat! Cultural Learnings for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan is the number one movie at the box offices.
