Amy Winehouse was in the number two position since, as Blackwell explained, she is a “part 50’s carhop horror”. Mary-Kate Olsen "resembles a tattered toothpick-trapped in a hurricane”, stated Blackwell who placed Olsen in third position.
Fergie, Kelly Clarkson, Eva Green, Avril Lavigne, Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan and Alison Arngrim all made it on the list of the top ten worst-dressed women for 2007.
Blackwell explained his criticisms. “Let it be said, however, that my criticisms are based purely on their fashion flaws — I’m sure they’re all wonderful people beneath the deluge of dreck they drape themselves in.”
